Birds and Bees Podcast is a sex positive education podcast with a specific goal in mind, to empower parents and couples to have sexual health conversations with each other and with their children. We strive to meet this goal by interviewing experts in their respective fields to provide listeners with tools to discuss topics in regards to: sexual development, building intimate connection, sexual health and healthy communication. We believe parents should have a source of reliable information they can turn to as they teach their kids about sexuality. Many parents feel they don’t know enough about sex to answer their child’s questions, how to bring up sexual topics, when to bring them up etc. We want this podcast to be your personal reference you can turn to when you have questions.

AfterCast: An Audio Companion for the Classical, Charlotte Mason Mama
AFTERCAST: AN AUDIO COMPANION FOR THE CLASSICAL, CHARLOTTE...

For many years now, Afterthoughts has been a sort of intellectual watering hole for all of you classical, Charlotte Mason homeschooling mamas out there – I like to call you Afterthinkers. You are thinking people – idea people – who never let a good book go to waste. You keep yourselves intellectually agile by reading books, often old books, seeking out the best that has been thought and said, and mixing it into your everyday lives of laundry and dishes and dinner and long division. At Afterthoughts, we have spent over a decade nourishing our minds on theology, educational philosophy, and a million other books and subjects thrown in – all the while bringing these ideas into a direct collision course with our daily lives. Because what good is an idea if we don’t use it – live it, breathe it? As an audio companion, this podcast is a chance to hear Afterthoughts blog posts rather than read them. Couple that with some bonus content focused on books and interviews, and you’ve got AfterCast.

The Cricket - A Kids Bedtime Story Podcast
THE CRICKET
close

The Cricket Podcast is a project to capture the art of storytelling at bedtime with the stories that we tell our kids. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes they are scary, usually a bit of both. But they are always kid-safe, entertaining, yet calm enough to fall asleep to. Most importantly, we get right into the story without a bunch of self-promoting meta talk. Production is kept minimal with intention: we try to preserve the craft of storytelling by presenting the story exactly as we would when telling our own children, using only our voices. 5 to 1 started when Jett, maybe 7 years old, asked his father what his 4th favorite dinosaur was. This seemingly random question turned into an idea for a father and his two sons to share an amazingly fun hobby together, and chronicle the childhood of two amazing boys. Listen in to talk, debate, and laugh along with this family on a wide variety of topics... pop culture (movies, music, TV), sports, personality, thought provoking ideas and questions. We pick a new topic each episode and count down our favorites from 5 to 1!
