In Episode 04 we find ourselves taking the first steps on my personal journey of PTSD. T.R.A.S.H being the acronym used to describe the stage, we find ourselves in the third stage. This stage is represented by the letter A and stands for Awaken.
I found the most disabling weapons PTSD had in its arsenal was the constant state of fog its puts you in. In the third stage of my T.R.A.S.H, I finally felt like the fog was beginning to lift. Awaken is a stage I started to feel like there might be a light at the end of the tunnel, and for the first time, it was not a train. PTSD is exceptional at keeping you in the dark and not letting you get your bearings. It is at this stage that I begin to understand the massive potential that comes with living through the events I experienced.
This is certainly a stage where I felt emotions I had not felt in many years.
Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure to check out our blog at www.ptsdbunkergearforyourbrain.com, as well as Facebook and Twitter page. PTSD may be a worthy opponent but is no match for the title wave of information that is available to defeat it.
