Hey Pkarlgh - The Peaches wants to organize the podcast into topics and insists we discuss it right now. Tabby has Simon say "papa" and it's the best part of the show. Eventually we get around to talking about how hard people are working to tear everything that matters to pieces.

Koozie Mail and Impossible Unity Expectations show art Koozie Mail and Impossible Unity Expectations

John Branyan's Comedy Sojourn Podcast

Hey Pkarlgh. We read an actual piece of mail and talk extensively about Koozies. Tabby gives a shout out to her in-laws who listen but aren't fans of the podcast. Then we discuss the impossibility that Christians can ever be united with non-Christians.

War On Drugs Is Not Racist and The Sin of Centrism show art War On Drugs Is Not Racist and The Sin of Centrism

John Branyan's Comedy Sojourn Podcast

The Peaches wanted to talk about what's wrong with being a centrist but she distracted me with racism first. She got herself into trouble for treating a black guy with equality. Eventually we get around to discussing what's wrong with wanting to be "in the middle" of the culture wars. The question is, "Who are the people Jesus would criticize today?"

John Branyan's Comedy Sojourn Podcast

One of my dreams comes true on this episode in that I finally found a black friend who will let me ask him anything! The Peaches gangs up with Nathan Hunter to try and force me to own my Calvinism. But before we get to that, we talk about racism in America.

Hey Pkarlgh - The McKinney men are having some feelings and the Peaches and I are trying to figure out how to trash Amy Coney Barrett. The Peaches managed to get herself into trouble again because she wasn't giddy about men disappearing from the planet for 24 hours.

John Branyan's Comedy Sojourn Podcast

Hey Pkarlgh - Whenever a Christian tells you to support women's rights you should probably put on some headphones and crank up some music, or white noise. I suggest you start wearing headphones all the time because Christians spew inane rhetoric with alarming frequency.

John Branyan's Comedy Sojourn Podcast

There are 2/3 fewer children than normally in the background and somehow the chaos increased! The Peaches and I discuss how to teach kids not to grow up to be angry brats. And I read a convoluted article that tells us Christians shouldn't vote but they should run for office (and this is not a joke.)

This week, I travel the world. Starting out on the bus with Tim Hawkins' crew I expose the inner secrets of Poddy Break. We'll peer behind the curtain to reveal the truth about this alleged 'off the cuff' phenomenon.  I try to figure out what Trigonometry is used for too.  We field a few questions from listeners for the Poddy Break gang.  We discuss children's artwork. Tim confesses that he always thought he was great at everything.

Apparently, Eskimos have 100 definitions for snow but we have no proof of that. I'm criticized for my pronunciation of 'era'. Robots are worse but nobody criticizes them. Tim is worried about artificial intelligence. We wind down the first part of the Poddy Break episode when we wake Freight up. I've got some criticism for these guys, but you'll have to listen to Poddy Break to hear it.  (We're overlapping episodes!! How cool is that!) Then things fall off the rails and I switch off the recorder for awhile...

The recording from my show in West Virginia is totally awful. Can't use it.  I did capture a short exchange with a guy in the audience though. He talks about farts. (To be clear, I started it...). It's inspirational.

I've got a few things to discuss with Carl on the way home from West Virginia. (God, Evil, toll booths and Pop Tarts).

Then...we finalize the Poddy Break episode. It's pretty noisy on the bus...sorry. Couldn't do much to fix the audio.
We talk about cats, chickens, and Bob Ross. Plus, what's the best thing to watch when you want to fall asleep?
