Many of us tend to push away thoughts and feelings that are unpleasant. Other times, they can seem like the only thing happening and cause us to lose focus on anything else happening around us. Practicing this consitently will help you to let these feelings come and go while you are better able to concentrate on what you are doing in the moment.
