She began her career in media Taipei, Taiwan, followed by 8 years at Business Week magazine in New York City. Heidi spent a combined 10 years working overseas in Singapore, Germany, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Heidi dedicates her non-day-job time to mentoring, advising, and creating the leaders the world needs today.. Heidi is President of the Women Executives Channel Advisory Board, a member of the Board of Directors for the global non-profit Rising Worldwide, executive sponsor of Accela's Diversity Equity & Inclusion Employee Resource Group, and a member of Chief and the Athena Alliance.
