1) If a new report is to be believed from Page Six, Gal Gadot is refusing to return for Wonder Woman 2 unless Brett Ratner and his RatPac-Dune Entertainment production company are removed from the follow-up. Warner Bros. announced a December 2019 release date for Wonder Woman 2 this fall, with director Patty Jenkins finally closing her deal to return as well. At this time, the validity of the report is unclear as Gadot was already contracted to return for a Wonder Woman sequel, though she could certainly fight to get out of the contract if WB refuses to remove Ratner.

According to a report from Variety, after director Ridley Scott, Imperative Entertainment, and Sony Pictures decided to replace Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer in the upcoming All the Money in the World, experts are telling the trade that the reported cost will be at least $2.5 million.

Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures has released the first trailer for Hostiles. The new film from Black Mass director Scott Cooper takes place in 1882 and follows an Army captain (Christian Bale) who is forced to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief (Wes Studi) and his family back home to their tribal lands across hostile territory.

Variety reports that the Jurassic World and Kong: Skull Island screenwriter Derek Connolly has come on board to write Sony’s big-screen adaptation of Metal Gear Solid. He reunites with his Kong Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts, who’s attached to helm the movie, though a release date has not yet been determined.
