Oregon's assisted-suicide law presents a number of hurdles for terminal patients to overcome to end their own lives. The group Compassion & Choices of Oregon works with the patients to overcome the hurdles. Compassion & Choices provides access to a network of volunteers and professionals with experience in implementing Oregon's Death With Dignity Act.
