You might have noticed that there is an election coming soon.  And to some voters, it might just feel like the campaigning never stopped after the last election.  We begin our interviews with candidates for legislative, congressional and statewide offices with Eldon Rollins, running for the Oregon Legislature in his third straight election, this time for the state senate seat (#2) currently held by Jeff Kruse of Roseburg.

Global Change, Local Effort

Think globally, act locally, as the old expression goes.  So if we want to take action on climate change, it has to happen in communities all over the world. A climate protection organization in the Rogue Valley is so new, it does not even have a name yet.  The name may be chosen when the group meets for the first time next week.  We'll talk to the organizers about the first steps for the group.
