Pot and the Environment

The elephant in the room needs to be discussed once in a while, and the elephant on the North Coast is marijuana.  Whether it's legal under California's medical marijuana law or illegal and being ripped out by police, there's plenty of it in Humboldt County.  Humboldt State University presents another symposium on marijuana, this one on the environmental effects of marijuana growing, Friday in Arcata.  We'll preview the issues.
