Carbon and the Planet

The political landscape was largely devoide of global warming discussions, but President Obama raised the issue in his victory speech, so perhaps the issue will rise again.  As far as the planet is concerned, it's not going away.  Ken Caldeira studies the planet and its surroundings in the Department of Global Ecology at Stanford; he'll join us to talk about his work and how the planet (and its people) are coping with increasing carbon in the atmosphere.
