One Kid at a Time

Jake Dekker had a lot of good things in his life, but he did not have any children.  So he took in a foster child, and quickly learned a great deal about himself, his new son, and the shortcomings of the foster care system.  He lays out the story in his book "One Kid at a Time: A Single Dad, a Boy in Foster Care, and an Adoption".
