Fiscal Cliff, er, Obstacle Course

With the election over, the campaign-deferred tax and budget issues loom large for Congress and the Obama administration.  But perhaps the so-called "fiscal cliff" could be more productively understood as a fiscal obstacle course. Such is the argument forwarded by the Economic Policy Institute. Andrew Fieldhouse, EPI federal budget and policy analyst, explains the metaphor and how the fiscal obstacles might be productively navigated.
