Roots: The Next Generation

Alex Haley made a big splash decades ago with his book "Roots".  Diane Morgan's book bears the same title, but hers is a very different subject matter: root vegetables and their preparation.  "Roots: the Definitive Compendium" goes way beyond the boring carrot recipes your parents once plopped upon your plate, covering a vast range "from beets to malanga to potatoes to turmeric to wasabi."  We'll talk to Diane just before starting to cook that Thanksgiving meal.
