Medicine's Chief Concern
There is plenty of literature about medicine, but how much of literature is used IN medicine? If Ronald Schleifer and Jerry Vannatta get their way, there will be more. Vannatta is the MD, Schleifer is the English professor... they brought their talents together for a course in literature in medicine and collaborated on a book, "The Chief Concern of Medicine: The Integration of the Medical Humanities and Narrative Knowledge into Medical Practices."
