First Friday in the Arts

Norovirus Outbreaks

It's unpleasant for anybody to suffer intestinal cramps, diarrhea and vomiting, but an emergency when many people get the same symptoms.  An outbreak of norovirus shut down schools in Oakland (OR) and a school in Roseburg recently.  You'll hear from a communicable disease specialist at Oregon Public Health about the disease and its spread.
