While Humboldt County wrestles with a long-delayed update of the county's land use General Plan, questions are being raised by a number of groups with stakes in the outcome.  We'll visit with reps from the Humboldt Coalition for Property Rights and the Mattole Restoration Council.

The plethora of Christmas trees and inflatable Santas tends to crowd out the sight of menorahs and other artifacts of Hanukkah, the Jewish holiday in December.  While they are often compared, their presence in the same month may be the only similarity.  Rabbi Maurice Harris in Eugene will give us a crash course in The Festival of Lights.
