Winter Whale Watch

These last days of the year can often feature some of the worst weather of the year.  But if you like whales, it might be worth it to collect your warmest and driest clothing and head for the ocean.  Winter whale watch runs December 26-30, and Oregon State Parks will station interpretive rangers and volunteers up and down the coast to help humans find their mammal cousins among the waves.

Public Safety Woes-Josephine

The sheriff and a handful of deputies police rural Josephine County, and the sheriff has given workshops on defending the home to the public.  County commissioners are considering moves that would bring in revenue IF they pass muster with voters.  Commissioner Don Reedy will join us to discuss options.
