Meghan Rose studied classical piano for 15 years, picked up the guitar and then became addicted to being in bands. She graduated from UW-Madison in 2008, studying art history, radio, tv and film history and production. She currently writes and performs in Little Red Wolf, I Saw the Creature, Turbo Loogie, and Damsel Trash. In 2011, she co-wrote a musical about zombies with friend and writing partner Sarah Mucek which was accepted to and performed at the 2012 New York Fringe Festival under the title "Love Death Brains." Meghan has collaborated with others in Madison in several music-related capacities including music direction for theatre at The Bartell, film scores for local directors, including Rob Matsushita's "Chapel: The Series," band coaching for Girls' and Ladies' Rock Camps, music direction at Atlas Improv Company, and most recently performing as Courtney Love in The Heroins, a Hole tribute band.
