A short play that asks the big question: whose fault is bullying?
A Sky Painted Brown, an original play by Madison-area playwrights, exposes the daily indignities a bullied student endures in tandem with the well-meaning but sometimes misguided responses from friends, parents, and teachers. With humor and pathos, honesty and sensitivity, the play’s journey is difficult yet rewarding. It runs one hour and includes talkbacks after each performance with clergy, social workers, and psychologists. The play is appropriate for middle-school age or older.
