And we're back!

Well, this took us a little longer to post this episode, only because James is now an international man of mystery. James went on a trip to Canada and so we had to plan around that monumental excursion. If you want to know what James was up to in Canada, you are in luck. You've got an hour of notes to open the show delivered in the kind of meticulous detail we all expect of Mr. Gilham.

Trapped!

It's been a while since we've had an episode where we have had two films that approach a theme so differently. First up is the underseen gothic, noir thriller, Gaslight. This movie was jam packed with star power (George Cukor, Ingrid Bergman, Charles Boyer, Joseph Cotton, Angela Lansbury and Dame May Whitty) , and went on to earn a host of Oscar nominations, but its not as widely known or talked about today as some of its contemporaries. Next, is the Kickstarter funded passion project from horror auteur Rob Zombie, 31. I dare you to find two films that are more different, but they both find their own way to explore the Trapped! theme.

If you have any recommendations for films we could watch for High and Low (Brow), want to suggest a potential theme for us to use, or simply want to tell James how awesome he is, feel free to email us.
