Each week, Rachel and some friends will dive into one of Tom's great films to talk about all things Hanks. Don't forget to do 'That Thing You Do' by subscribing and 'Catch [You've Got Hanks] If You Can' each week. Hanks for listening!
info_outline Jumanji: The Next Level (2019) With Kathleen SullivanYou've Got Hanks
My friend, Kathleen Sullivan, is back and so is everyone else for the sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle - aka Jumanji: The Next Level. Even Colin gets more screen time in this one, so you know it's a good time. Plus, there's a horse and Awkwafina. Listen to us discuss all the times Kevin Hart as Danny Glover made us laugh out loud. No "Call-in Colin" this week, but if you'd like to be a part of the next one, call (805) 622-9667 & Hanks for listening! info_outline Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) With Kathleen SullivanYou've Got Hanks
This week, I've got my friend and fellow NYU film alum, Kathleen Sullivan, back to talk about the super fun Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017). This reboot is one of the only ones that works. You hear that Hollywood? And Colin Hanks and Nick Jonas are the same character. What more could I want? No "Call-in Colin" this week, but if you'd like to be a part of the next one, call (805) 622-9667 & Hanks for listening! info_outline Band Aid (2017) With Nadia GarboskyYou've Got Hanks
This week, I'm joined by my friend and returning guest, Nadia Garbosky, to talk about Band Aid (2017). We've got another blink-and-you'll-miss-it part from Colin Hanks. This movie also gives off real NYU film vibes, but it's got some great cameos and was an all female crew. That's pretty impressive. No "Call-in Colin" this week, but if you'd like to be a part of the next one, call (805) 622-9667 & Hanks for listening! info_outline Elvis & Nixon (2016) With Ashley StauberYou've Got Hanks
This week, I sit down with my friend Ashley Stauber () the same way Elvis sat Nixon down to talk in Elvis & Nixon (2016). Colin has a great role in this weird movie about two famous guys from the '70s talking about Karate, moon rocks from Buzz Aldrin, and Dr Pepper. No "Call-in Colin" this week, but if you'd like to be a part of the next one, call (805) 622-9667 & Hanks for listening! info_outline Fargo (2014) With Charlie MihelichYou've Got Hanks
It's finally time to talk about Fargo (2014). Colin Hanks has a big role and I've got a lot to talk about with my friend and the co-host of the podcast, Charlie Mihelich (). We do get sidetracked and talk about The Man in the Iron Mask and I do make Charlie take a 30-question quiz, but the rest is all Fargo and Colin. No "Call-in Colin" this week, but if you'd like to be a part of the next one, call (805) 622-9667 & Hanks for listening! info_outline Vacation (2015) With Kathleen SullivanYou've Got Hanks
This week, I'm joined by one of the best friends, Kathleen Sullivan (), who I met in film school, so you know this is a very well educated conversation about the movie Vacation (2015). Once again Colin Hanks is only in a "blink and you'll miss it" scene of this movie, but we still must talk about it. Also, did you know this is part of the NLV universe — aka the National Lampoon's Vacation? We had no idea, but we did know Chris Hemsworth was in it and that's all you need to know. No "Call-in Colin" this week, but if you'd like to be a part of the next one, call (805)...
info_outline No Stranger Than Love (2015) With Jaya RamdathYou've Got Hanks
Childrens TV writer and my BFF, Jaya Ramdath, joins me this week to talk about Colin Hanks' movie No Stranger Than Love. Colin spends most of this movie in a hole, but at least he's in it for more than one scene. You've got to trust our opinions on this one, because we're two NYU film alumni. No "Call-in Colin" this week, but if you'd like to be a part of the next one, call (805) 622-9667 & Hanks for listening! info_outline NCIS (2013) With Barbara ChapmanYou've Got Hanks
My favorite person in the world, my mom, joins me to talk about Colin Hanks' guest starring role on the super popular NCIS. My mom is a big NCIS fan and I'm just a casual watcher when it's on, so we have very different opinions about Hanks' character on the show. What do you think of the character of Richard Parsons? No "Call-in Colin" this week, but if you'd like to be a part of the next one, call (805) 622-9667 & Hanks for listening! info_outline Parkland (2013) With Stephanie Chanel MyersYou've Got Hanks
My friend Stephanie Chanel Myers () joins me to discuss the JFK assassination movie Parkland (2013). You can't have a JFK assassination movie without talking about the conspiracy theories. This movie is also star-studded with Zac Efron, Paul Giamatti, David Harbour, Ron Livingston, and Jeremy Strong from Succession. Do all these good people make for a good movie? No "Call-in Colin" this week, but if you'd like to be a part of the next one, call (805) 622-9667 & Hanks for listening! info_outlineStarting off our Tom Hanks' journey with his first-ever movie, He Knows You're Alone, with special guests Riley Westling (@rileywestling) and Jeremy Culhane (@jazzy__jelly). This horror movie is all about a bride-to-be being stalked by some random man who's out to kill anyone remotely related to getting married. It may have been a scary movie, but the scariest part was how long it took for us to get to Tom's scene. Although it was a small part, Tom makes the most of it as his charming self. We also talk about how annoying Marvin is, and find out if Riley and Jeremy would survive a horror movie. Do you think you could survive? Let me know on Twitter or Instagram @youvegothanks.
