Untold Detroit: Beer

Listen as a variety of beer industry leaders and historians tell the comprehensive story of Detroit brewing.

Untold Detroit: Beer focuses on the long history of beer and brewing in Detroit — from before Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac arrived in Detroit to current events in Detroit’s beer scene. It takes a deep dive into the thoughts of those directly involved in creating today's brewing history, including brewing giants like Larry Bell, founder of Bell’s Brewery, John Stroh from the Stroh’s family and Annette May, the only female-certified Cicerone in the United States.

Untold Detroit: Beer is the first podcast from the Detroit Historical Society and is hosted by Billy Wall-Winkel.
