Dissecting Effects

Whenever I get a new piece of equipment, before I feel comfortable using it, I need to understand the full range of its abilities. Dissecting Effects is an audio journal of my personal exploration of audio effects, primarily guitar pedals. I'll talk through what I'm doing, and by the end of every episode I hope you can hear everything an effect has to offer. It's worth noting I don't play the blues. Nothing against the blues but since I don't play the blues it doesn't help me to hear a bunch of fiery blues licks through a pedal. And more importantly I don't practice what I'm going to play and I'm mediocre at best. This is just me dorking around on a pedal to figure out what its deal is.
