The Rider: The Dear One
This week The Rider are overjoyed to be joined by Baltic Fleet's Paul Fleming. Baltic Fleet won the GIT Award a few years back and Paul is one of Liverpool's most exciting artists. The album The Dear One has elicited all sorts of mainstream praise and is one of the best records of the year so far. In short he is a proper grown-up. Though he doesn't seem to go the tip as often as we would like. We play something from The Dear One, Paul picks two of his favourite things of the year so far and Neil, Steph and John all have their own belters to play plus an exclusive play of new band Lilium's first single. Talk of the weekend, The XX and Leonard Cohen as well. It's a great show. They are great songs. The Rider - everything you need for a balanced diet. A Tribe Called Quest - We The People Giggs - Lock Doh Lillium - Disappear Illum Sphere - The Journey Baltic Fleet - Tuns Lorenzo Senni - emotiva1234 The XX - Hold On Bearson - One Step at a Time (Feat. Don't Buy The S*n
Last week we released an edition of our 'Back Page' show which dealt with the boycott of the Sun newspaper and the debate around how far the boycott should stretch, the issues around it and the increasingly blurred lines that exist in regards to what is just, right and respectful. After much feedback around the show from our subscribers, we have decided to release it in the place of the week's main show. Gareth Roberts is joined by James McKenna, Paul Cope and Neil Docking to talk about Liverpool’s boycott of The S*n. Have lines become blurred? Is the focus in the right place? Is anger directed at the right people and organisations?

The Rider: Tension
This week the special guest on The Rider is Mo Stewart and he is bringing the tension with him. Mo doesn't like one of Neil and John's songs and won't say which it is. Nail biting stuff. Other than this there is talk of the brilliance of Baltic Fleet and Zach De La Rocha, more apologies for folk and can you play metal in a city centre bar in 2016? All that here plus 9 great songs. All the usual fun of The Rider fair. The Perfect Weekend

The Perfect Weekend
What a win, what a weekend. Gareth Roberts is joined for this week's free podcast by John Gibbons, Daniel Austin, Melissa Reddy and James Sutton to talk about a massive weekend for Liverpool as they shrugged off the disappointment of Manchester United to dispatch a troublesome West Brom side with relative aplomb. Only just missing out on top spot on goal difference, could Liverpool have done more against a manager they've historically struggled against or did they produce enough against an inspired Ben Foster in the West Brom goal, and from one goalie to another, the microscopic analysis of Loris Karius continues, but is he really in as poorer form as is being made out? What now for Liverpool with Spurs on the horizon and Crystal Palace at the weekend? Can a few on the fringes force their way into the picture this weekend?

Neil Atkinson is joined for a post Man United draw podcast by Andy Heaton, Adam Smith. Did Liverpool do enough to win the game or in the end did a point suit both teams? Was the criticism of Loris Karius justified or are people merely looking for things that aren't there? All this and more covered in a bumper seventy-three minute flagship show.
