We'll take a few minutes this episode talking specifically about Dale Hale - his Peanuts work and more. We've also got This Month in Peanuts History and an episode of "Peanuts by Schulz" called...

Another holiday season is upon us. In episode 107, instead of going out to find a scraggly little tree that just needs a little love, I found author William Johnson (The Complete History of Peanuts on Parade: A Tribute to Charles M. Schulz) and dragged him inside instead. We have a wide-ranging discussion of Peanut-y goodness. A panoply of Peanuts, if you will.  We also look at this month in Peanuts news and enjoy a Random Strip of the Month. Not a bad way to spend this holiday month. Join us! It's the holiday season! Who better to spend it with than Snoopy! It would be weird if "The Snoopy Show" said "Bert and Ernie" or something (not that I don't love them too). Fortunately, they went with the beagle and we're checking out Season 3, episode 13 (Yes, we're skipping some episodes. We'll fix it later.) "Happiness is Holiday Traditions". We also check out a "Peanuts by Schulz" episode called "Just for Love" and revisit This Month in Peanuts History.  Thanks to Nick Jones for the use of his song "25% Off" Thanks to Sean Courtney for the "This Month in Peanuts History" theme

EPISODE 50! We made it!

Because people think numbers ending in "5" and "0" are significant, and, let's say, in honor of the Peanuts secondary player "5" and because, as Peppermint Patty tells Franklin, "In answer to your question, Franklin, I think we know who the ZERO is..." we thought this month we'd talk to a man steeped in the 70 year (another number ending in zero) history of our favorite comic.

Author/publisher/blogger of the "Aaugh Blog", aboutcomics.com and so many other things, Nat Gertler returns to the show for the first time since episode 13. He has been exploring "Peanuts" filmstrips from 1979 like the ones many of us watched in school. So turn out the overhead fluorescent lights, roll the projector and give a listen. No sleeping or you'll get detention after school.

We've also got a "Peanuts by Schulz" episode called "The Great Outdoors" and another RANDOM STRIP OF THE MONTH.

Thanks to Kevin McLeod at Incompetech.com for creative commons use of his songs "Mining by Moonlight" and "Bass Walker".

Thanks to Nick Jones for the use of his song "25% Off".

Thanks to Henry Pope for the use of his "Linus & Lucy" remix. Find that and other music on Soundcloud.
