Building a Business to fund your passions

Brandi Voth loves sales and has built a solid skincare business with a global team that spans across 17 states in the United States, every territory of Australia, and hopefully soon in Japan. She has a podcast, just launched a power hat company, and mentors trafficking survivors. She really loves coaching and training women and helping them realize their strengths and helping them step out of their comfort zones.

 

One day a billboard about human trafficking caught her off guard and she couldn’t walk away from it It just kept pulling at her heart over and over and over and she knew that this was the bigger thing that she was being called to do.

When you discover something that you are passionate about, don’t rely on YouTube videos or social media research, find the organizations that are boots on the ground working in that area. Find all of the things there are to read, to watch, and any meetings to attend.

 

You can help so many more people by using your unique gifts, talents,So,  and strengths and create something that’s even bigger than yourself.  The thing that people sometimes miss is they want to do something so big that they freeze on not knowing how to take action. It doesn’t happen overnight, but things happen by just taking a single step and then taking another step.

 

The key is every single day, just taking a step forward and taking action. And even if you don’t know if it’s the right direction, take action on something. If it is the wrong direction, make a course correction, turn around and analyze.

 

Let’s say you’ve got three forks, like three directions to go. If you choose right, it may work out, it may not. Don’t continue going right because you're going to end up in the opposite direction of where you need to be. Turn around and go straight. Straight might not be the right direction either, but the willingness to try will be your success. Success does not come without pitfalls, but the lessons learned from going the wrong direction helps you when going the right direction to be able to move faster along the path. 

 

Every single piece is a part of your journey, every piece a stepping stone. You’ve learned something, you’ve grown stronger. Every single piece, the good, the bad, the ugly, the struggles, that is the journey that was laid out for you to walk.
