Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
So there is a natural and adversarial relationship between diagonal opposite quadrants, so the results people sometimes butt heads with the operations people and system’s people. I wanna tell you the process. I just wanna hear the result of the process. Well if you knew the process will get the result more often, ‘oh my god you're killing me,' ‘no i'm not i'm saving you. You could imagine that going back and forth and then now this probably does not happen in your company but the sales and marketing team sometimes butt heads with the accounting and administrative team. The sales team says “come on what do you want me spending my time on a CRM or pushing paper? Or you want me out there making things happen?” And the accounting team says "no, where just trying to get you paid, it would be nice if you came back with the contract signed and dated, if you don't mind if that’s not too much trouble for you?” and there’s constant push pull. In a company we are not looking for harmony. I don't wanna make it sound that way at all, we are looking for constructive conflict.
