Drawing on more than 15 years of training and assessing embodiment coaches, we explore the common patterns that hold coaches back, from relying too heavily on techniques to confusing confidence with competence. 775.The Coaching Paradox: Finding Transformation Through Stillness - With Nic Askew show art 775.The Coaching Paradox: Finding Transformation Through Stillness - With Nic Askew

The Embodiment Coaching Podcast

In this episode, I speak with filmmaker and interviewer Nic Askew about presence, stillness, and what it means to truly see another human being. Drawing on decades of creating deeply intimate filmed conversations, Nic shares his perspective on why the most meaningful moments emerge not through technique or performance, but by letting go of agenda and allowing something authentic to unfold. We explore what this means for coaches, examining the paradox at the heart of coaching: while clients often come seeking outcomes, the greatest transformations frequently happen when neither coach nor client...

I had the chance to sit down with Erwan Le Corre, one of the leading voices in natural movement. We dug into why movement matters far beyond fitness, how our bodies are designed for adaptability, and what we lose when we stop moving the way humans evolved to.

Erwan also shares his passion for breath work, including his own record-breaking breath-hold training, and why breathing is just as fundamental as movement for resilience and health. We explore the difference between training for show and training for life, and how reconnecting with simple, natural practices can change the way you feel and perform every day.

This was a rich, practical, and inspiring conversation for anyone interested in movement, breath, and living more fully in their body.
