What if what you have come to accept as normal levels of health are not normal and definitely not optimal? What if the level of pain, swelling, physical and mental fitness that snuck up on you as you got older didn't need to stay? How would your life be different? Be better?

I have been dealing with health issues for a number of years now and been asking question after question. Once I was told I was sick because I was depressed because I wasn't with a man. As a woman, our symptoms are often discounted. It is up to all of us, women or men, to be our own best health advocate and to challenge the in-range blood work when we know there is something wrong.

My guest today challenges us to ask those questions and also gives us answers. It IS all about the questions you ask and on this show we learn some questions to ask yourself and your doctor and a few tests that everyone should have run the next time they go to the doctor's for a physical.
