In the volunteer arena, Lhea is the Past President of the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women, a thirty year premier women’s networking organization. She has chaired several committees and co-established the Speed Networking event. Additionally, Lhea served as a board member of the Long Island Women’s Business Council for several years and was a former board member of the US Women’s Chamber of Commerce, where she contributed to the launch of the first Diversity Awards on Long Island in 2004.
Lhea has co-chaired and sat on the Women of Distinction committee for the March of Dimes, for over seven years, helping to improve the mortality rate of babies and expectant mothers.
