Next up, Femi Taylor, who played the ill-fated (but always fabulous) Oola, shares her experience on the set of RETURN OF THE JEDI. She dives into what...

info_outlineWe’re stepping back in time to talk PETE’S DRAGON (1977) with Anthony Fox (MousePire Podcast). Along the way we compare and contrast with 2016’s PETE’S DRAGON and marvel at what made it past the censors in the 1970’s. Several listeners wrote in with their comments and memories of the film.
Fun Fact: Jim Dale (who plays Dr. Terminus) reads all the Harry Potter U.S. versions of the audio books and he is incredible. Lends new credibility to the Dr. Terminus of PETE’S DRAGON.
If you’ve never seen it or haven’t watched in awhile, here’s a plot refresher:
Pete is a nine-year-old orphan who escaped from his brutal adoptive parents, and now wanders the New England coast with his only friend - a cartoon dragon named Elliott. They find a new home in Passamaquoddy, Maine, and live with Nora, a lighthouse keeper, and her father, Lampie. All is not well in this little fishing town when the shady Dr. Terminus shows up and wants to cut Elliott up and sell for medicinal purposes. And non-stop hilarity ensues!
STEP IN TIME: Remembering Disney's Matinee Movies is a spin-off show where we look back at the Disney live-action films of yesteryear. If you are already subscribed to Skywalking Through Neverland - do nothing! This show will appear in your feed. Have fun reminicing with us.
