Provocative title so I'm sure you'll want to listen. We discuss Tim's proposed acronym for the Molinist. After all, if the Calvinists get an acronym, why can't we? Seems only fair. This episode is the second of two episodes that follow along with Tim's article on the subject which is linked below. Hope you enjoy!

The Freethinking Podcast

While recording our podcasts discussing Tim's response to Guillaume Bignon, I realized I'd disagreed with something I'd written down on our notes. Rather than cut off recording to discuss it, I decided to keep the cameras rolling so-to-speak, and both Tim and I liked the free flowing discussion that ensued. So I figured, why not make it into a bonus episode? Since this wasn't necessarily meant to be released, keep in mind that not everything we say is our official positions on the topics at hand. We're likely both wrong at points in this episode (probably all episodes to be fair), and after...

If you haven’t heard by now, Tim wrote a book. It’s a good book. You should buy it and read it. However, some people thought it was a not good book. One person in particular, philosopher Guillaume Bignon, wrote a 50 page refutation of Tim’s book. Tim wrote an article as a rejoinder to this refutation. Now we’re talking about it. In this episode, we’ll talk about the fifth of what Tim perceives to be Bignon’s problems with his book: apologetic significance. Link to Tim’s Rejoinder:

More Episodes

We’re back with another episode on Molinism! In this episode, Tim and I explain why the term “middle knowledge” is named as it is, as well as providing some more clarification on topics discussed in the previous episode. It’s another action-packed and interesting episode of the Freethinking Podcast!

One of my favorite things when talking about Molinism is to see the other person’s face light up once they finally understand this deep and sophisticated doctrine. Unfortunately, that’s not really possible for me to see when I am doing a podcast, so you’ll just have to join the private Facebook group and let me know your experience with Molinism!

Of course, for those of you who often read these things you know that you can join the private Facebook group at freethinkingministries.com/facebook. Affirm the Freethinking Ministries statement of faith, and you’ll be off and running. Thanks for sharing the show!
