He came up with a strategic plan and followed that plan without variations. The other leader thought he had everything planned and in place, but there were a lot of things that he missed and he was not prepared.

“Don’t overcomplicate it,
just put it out there.”
Debbie Stewart
Debbie Stewart is a direct sales consultant for the nationally recognized company, Scentsy, and has created a unique way of growing her business with Social Tenacity's guidance. We helped her unlock her potential to create an amazing personal brand. Now, Debbie has a thriving business and a successful monthly subscription she can stand behind.
Before she found Social Tenacity, Debbiefelt stuck in the marketing strategies her company's upline recommended. She didn't feel as inspired and wanted something more. She needed to set herself apart from everyone else.
Then, a friend introduced her to one of our podcasts, and she was intrigued by the things we teach. Over the last year, Debbie has grown in some spectacular ways and shares her insight on how she developed her monthly subscription boxes.
“When you start, it might be pretty basic, but as you keep going, you're going to start to figure it out and it's going to get better and better.” –Debbie Stewart
If doing a monthly subscription box could work for your business, here are a few tips.
First, have a theme and pick a price point. When you select a price point for your box, think about what you would be willing to pay. Let's face it; if you wouldn't be willing to pay the big bucks for the box, your customers won't either. Debbie settled on $20 and her subscription has been a huge success.
Debbie's brand is more than the product. It's also her personal touches that create joy and happiness. So, every month she chooses a theme for the boxes she sends to each client. She includes her product and little extras that generate excitement and joy. Debbie believes that attention to detail makes all the difference for people.
You will find ways of making things work for you in your business.
If the typical marketing strategies aren't working for you, there are always different ways to grow your business. There are so many things you can do to become successful. However, it takes effort and willingness to think outside the box, no pun intended.
A monthly subscription box is more than the products inside; it's the reorders too. While each box puts the product into customers' hands, it also introduces them to things they may not have otherwise bought themselves.
“Sometimes we get so stuck as network marketers...but there are a hundred and million one-ways to [market your product].”
- Debbie Stewart
For example, in July, Debbie was inspired by Katy Perry's song, Firework. She created a box that fit the theme, but that also added purpose. She chose several products that met the theme and also added a personal touch by putting the lyrics to Katy's song with each product. Debbie also uses Pinterest for ideas to create a unique feel that inspires others while also making them happy.
