Sarah Rose is currently an online business mentor and network marketing advocate. Sarah grew up in a single-parent home where, sadly, her mom was thousands of dollars in debt. However, when her mom became a pioneer in the network marketing industry, their lives changed, and instead of being thousands of dollars in the red, they went to thousands of dollars in the green. Sarah’s mom became her inspiration and helped propel her toward the career she’s in today.

 

Sarah stayed within the network marketing industry after she graduated college until she switched career goals and decided to be a stay-at-home mom. Things were good until they weren’t. Sarah and her husband found themselves in a financial crisis, which required her to go back to work. Rather than sacrifice flexibility and time with her family, Sarah decided to go back to network marketing instead of the traditional workforce. 

 

Now, she’s happy and successfully navigating her career within her current company while helping others find financial happiness and success within their own companies.

Sarah's first tip for success in the industry is belief. You need to believe in the industry, your company, and yourself. You've got to think that network marketing works. People worldwide are successful within the trade, making 6, 7, even 8-figure incomes doing it, so you can too. 

 

You also need to own it, meaning understanding that you're a network marketing professional. This includes sticking with it through thick and thin and burning past bridges of unbelief, so there's no other way to retreat.

 

Borrowed belief from your upline also affects your success rate. If you don’t believe in yourself, you’re less likely to achieve your goals. Of course, your upline wants you to be successful, but if you don’t see yourself achieving your goals, you won’t. You have to be self-motivated and put in the time and effort to see results.

 

Failure is a part of success just as success is a part of failure. Pivot if you must, but don’t quit.

 

Her second tip is deciding to decide, which means you’re going to make it to the top and will not be denied. Knowing that failure is not an option will propel you forward to meeting your end goal. Determination is what helps build confidence and belief. 

 

Sarah’s third tip is consistency. If you’re not touching your business in some way every day, you need to make some adjustments. Time flies by too quickly for you to not be in the game.

There are so many great companies out there, which is why creating a personal brand will help set you apart and attract the target audience in-line with your products or services. If you’re not branding yourself, you’re just going to get lost in the noise. 

 

It’s essential to identify your unique gifts and talents, so you can sell the way only you can sell. People buy people, not companies. This is why it’s also crucial to be vulnerable, real, and relatable in your messaging.
