Your marketing got someone’s attention. They clicked, called, or booked a consultation. What happens next? In the final episode of The Aesthetic Mindset Shift, Jamie Thayer looks at the entire client journey: attention, response, consultation, experience, retention, and advocacy. She explains why a practice’s culture and systems matter just as much as the message that brings a client through the door. A slow follow-up, an uncertain front desk conversation, or a consultation without a clear next step may reveal the next opportunity to strengthen your business. Jamie’s assignment is...

What makes an aesthetic treatment feel luxurious? Jamie Thayer’s answer has less to do with chandeliers and more to do with whether a client feels seen, understands what happens next, and knows the team is paying attention. Recorded in the medical room at Erchonia’s 30th Anniversary National Laser Expo in Greenville, South Carolina, this episode of Laser Secrets brings you Jamie’s presentation on building a thoughtful client experience around aesthetic laser services. Jamie shares how she and Dr. Stephanie Wautier grew Glow Laser Aesthetics from a two-person practice, starting with a...

Great technology is only the beginning. Recorded from Erchonia’s 30-Year Celebration and National Laser Expo in Greenville, South Carolina, Jamie Thayer sits down with Joseph Zapolsky, International Sales Director for Erchonia Laser Company, for a conversation about the brand-new CLX and where aesthetic laser technology is heading. Jamie has been closely involved with CLX since Glow Laser Aesthetics served as an FDA clinical trial site nearly two years ago. Now that the technology is available to providers, she and Joseph talk about why demand for non-invasive jawline treatments is growing,...

You know the science. You understand the technology. You can explain the wavelengths, mechanisms, physiology, research, and exactly why a treatment works. But is that what your prospective client wants to hear first? In Part 3 of the Aesthetic Mindset Shift, Jamie Thayer challenges providers to change the order of the conversation. Your client may not be searching for photobiomodulation. She may be searching for: “I want my jawline back.” “I want my jeans to fit better.” “I want clearer skin.” “I want to feel confident in pictures again.” That does not make the science less...

In Part 2 of the Aesthetic Mindset Shift, Jamie Thayer is joined by her friend and Glow Laser Aesthetics business partner, Dr. Stephanie Wautier, for a candid conversation about what really changes when a chiropractor, wellness provider, or established clinician moves into aesthetics. Because the person walking into your chiropractic office and the person walking into your aesthetic practice may be the exact same human being, but they are often making two very different buying decisions. Jamie and Stephanie talk about the expectations surrounding insurance versus discretionary spending,...

Jamie Thayer is kicking off a new month-long series on the Laser Secrets Podcast called The Aesthetic Mindset Shift. This is not mindset in the vague, motivational sense. It is about the way you think about the business you are intentionally trying to build. A lot of providers spend their days operating. They see clients, manage teams, answer messages, post on social media, run promotions, order supplies, pay bills, troubleshoot problems, and keep the business moving. But somewhere in the middle of all that doing, it becomes very easy to stop building. That is where this episode begins....

In this Quick Win Wednesday episode of the Laser Secrets Podcast, Jamie Thayer explains why the FOURtune really is in the follow-up. Great follow-up can absolutely create revenue, but first it creates something even more valuable: trust. It tells your client: I remember you. I care about your experience. We’re paying attention. Jamie looks at three critical moments where follow-up can completely change the client experience: after a consultation, after a treatment, and after a completed package. The problem is that follow-up often depends on someone remembering to do it. And when the...

In this Quick Win Wednesday episode of the Laser Secrets Podcast, Jamie Thayer challenges providers to look at one of the most overlooked revenue opportunities in their business: the client database they already have. When the schedule gets quiet, the instinct is usually to spend more on ads, post more on social media, or create another promotion. But before chasing new leads, Jamie suggests asking a different question: What about the people who already know, like, and trust your business? Former consultations, past package clients, people who wanted to start but the timing was wrong, and...

In this Quick Win Wednesday episode of the Laser Secrets Podcast, Jamie Thayer tackles a feeling almost every practice owner knows well: staring at a packed to-do list and wondering how everything is supposed to get done. Jamie explains why waiting to “feel motivated” often keeps us stuck. In her experience, motivation usually shows up after we begin. The formula is simple: Action creates momentum. Momentum builds confidence. Confidence creates motivation. Instead of trying to solve the entire week at once, Jamie shares a practical system for clearing the mental clutter, identifying...

Quick Win Wednesday - Consistency Beats Talent In this Quick Win Wednesday episode of the Laser Secrets Podcast, Jamie Thayer tackles a problem many growing aesthetic practices eventually face: everything seems to run better when one particular person is working. But if excellence depends on one employee, one manager, or the owner being present, the business has built dependence instead of consistency. Jamie explains how strong practices create clear standards across communication, client experience, processes, and culture so clients receive the same level of care no matter who answers the...
info_outlineIn Part 2 of the Aesthetic Mindset Shift, Jamie Thayer is joined by her friend and Glow Laser Aesthetics business partner, Dr.
Jamie and Stephanie talk about the expectations surrounding insurance versus discretionary spending, why clinical excellence alone does not automatically create demand, and why the mindset, marketing, and systems that built one successful business may not be the same ones that build the next.
They also look at the strengths healthcare providers should absolutely bring with them: trust, compassion, education, emotional intelligence, community relationships, and the ability to make people feel genuinely cared for.
The goal is not to throw away what got you here.
It is to decide what deserves to come with you and what needs to evolve.
This week’s exercise is simple:
Draw a line down the middle of a page.
On one side, write KEEP.
On the other, write EVOLVE.
Under KEEP, identify the strengths, values, systems, and relationships that deserve to come with you.
Under EVOLVE, identify the one thing that may need to change to support the business you are intentionally building next.
Then choose one thing to work on.
Not 47.
One.
Because growth is not about abandoning the business that got you here. It is about intentionally building the business that gets you there.
