Subject: What Are You Drinking?

Hi guys,

Congrats on breaking 200 episodes, just enjoyed number 202. Appreciate the great podcast and I love getting a YouTube notification that you're "live" but it usually comes up just as I'm about to get the kids cleaned up for bed so I miss the live chat.

 

I have some beverage suggestions for Ian as he's been sober for two episodes at least and anyone else who's not drinking as I feel bad for him when he's drinking water or tea, as good as those two things are. I've been sober for 12 or so years now after several years as a "professional drinker". When I quit drinking the non alcoholic beer game was pretty weak offering only O'Doul's (it does in a pinch) and like Molsen Excel and as an ex-professional drinker I couldn't bring myself to drink that swill. These days, the non alcoholic beer market has solid offerings from large brewers and craft brewers alike. Pick up a 4 or 6 pack from Partake, Village, Mill Street, or Sober Carpenter (currently one of my faves) and enjoy a solid beer so you can drive or work the next day. It's been awhile but I recall that this might be akin to offering decaf to a real coffee drinker but I assure you the quality these days is pretty impressive.
