This week the panel get geared up for the Alberta election. The Federal Liberals start attacking other parties and threaten to sue the Conservative party leader over SNC Lavalin comments. Climate Change Barbie awards Loblaws 12 million tax dollars for new refrigerators. The panel continues covering the ongoing opioid epidemic. There is a load of gun news this week; Polls show division amongst Canadians on handgun and assault weapons bans, gang bangers in Toronto getting it to shoot outs. Most bizarrely Canada’s National Firearms Association is suing the Canadian Coalition for Firearms Rights over alleged copyright infringements and immediately backpedaled when counter sued and is now claiming victim status.

Dear Cpp panel members,

As a university student, there are those odd classes that make you want to spoon your eyeballs out, and in my case that class is Income Tax Accounting. As a long time listener, I'm obviously no fan of taxation, so I would appreciate your feedback on what to do with the 2400 pages of convoluted theft that are the income tax act, that is once the class is finished.

I wanted to add, you know the legislation is good when your cpa friend informs you that she doesnt have a copy any more, because she burned it.

I would appreciate if the panel took a vote on this issue to help a BrOTheR out, as I'm not sure if assaulting it with all the .556 and 12gauge is enough, and I'll happily destroy/defile it in whatever way you all come up with, I know it will be entertaining. I'd ask Tyler of liberty or death too but he doesn't do the podcast thing anymore.

Keep up the excellent content, cant wait to get drunk on mondays and listen to the show live again after this semester ends, and real life begins again.
