Dice Voyeurs
Space Cadets Gaming Gaming, along with Space Cadets Collection Collection, is a gaming/comics duo in The Woodlands, Texas that John has been going to for years. We moved out of the area, but still love the atmosphere in the shop and the wonderful people that run it. (They even let us have our Wedding Reception/We Got Married! Party in their game room.) This week, in our season 1 finale, John sits down with Brian McMeans and, owner of SCGG to talk about the shop, what goes on, and where it’s going!

Phase One Comics and Games is a (le gasp) comics and game store in Tomball, Texas that graciously let us record some podcast intros for our Indy PopCon Interview Series. We felt it only right to talk to one of the store’s proprietors about what they’re doing to be a unique shop in the midst of a sea of other shops in the greater Houston metropolis.

This week, we’re featuring Nolan Nasser from N3 Art and Deep Water Games. Nolan’s art caught our eyes first at Comicpalooza here in Houston, and when we saw him again at Indy PopCon, we had to stop and chat. We have at least one game that features his art, one of his game mats, and can’t get enough of his unique art style. For more information and photos, check out the links below!

In June, we traveled north to spend a weekend with our friends, Matt and Shirley from the Nerd’s Domain, and joined them for a few live events at Indy Pop Con 2018! While there, we saw so many products we loved and John was able to interview several of them right on the convention floor. This week, we’re featuring Jennifer Howlett from Adventure Scents. These aromatic beads are long-lasting (with proper care) and their collection includes scents for all RPG settings from steampunk to fantasy to histor

If you don’t already know, we are Kickstarter junkies. Back in January, John spotted a dice vault that he couldn’t pass-up, even though it was intended for use with a game we don’t play – Dice Masters. Unfortunately, it didn’t fund, but the creator, Complete Craftworks, was kind enough to send us one for review!

Last year, during a playthrough of Pandemic Legacy Season 1, we decided we needed something more than our four condiment dishes for game components. Around that same time, Dog Might Games launched their Kickstarter for the Component Collector. At first glance, we knew we had to have it. Once it arrived a couple weeks ago, we invited some friends around to get it on the show. Did it meet our expectation?
