Morgan was eight years old when she was molested by a care giver. While she was seeing therapy for that trauma, her brother was suddenly struck with meningitis one night and had died within hours. She couldn’t cope with the depression and soon quit therapy, as it wasn’t working for her. She couldn’t find the right tools to help heal her emotionally until she discovered the Alexander Technique, a type of exercise full of mindfulness and learning to pay attention to your body when you’re feeling stress out or anxious. She is now an Alexander Technique teacher and speaker, helping others seek growth and change through awareness and consciousness.
