Kim is licensed psychotherapist and a Certified Addiction Professional who specializes in women with co-occurring addictions, sex and love addiction, substance use disorder, and eating disorders. Kim herself had her own battles with additions growing up, whether it was drugs, love, or sex, she looked for different ways to numb her pain. While she was on the road to recovery, she discovered the power of therapy and it inspired her to get her Masters in Social Work and help others in similar situations.

Melinda Cruz is the founder of Miracle Babies Foundation, Australia’s largest not-for-profit charity for premature babies and their families. Her own experience of having 3 premature babies, left her feeling devastated and lost. Right before she became pregnant with her third child, she approached the hospital with the idea of having a support group for families with premature and sick babies – as there were limited resources at the time – and thus, Miracle Babies was born.

She is now the owner of Her Body Fitness and a member of the X League – a U.S. women’s tackle football league.

She is now a lead chef, nutritionist, reiki master, and founder of the method of Culinary Alchemy.

Ashlee is a children’s author and an award-winning literacy advocate, but she came into her writing career completely by chance. She had always thought that she would work in corporate America, but the job quickly grew unfulfilling and she quit her job at the age of 23. For the first time in her life, she didn’t have a backup plan. It was during this time of self-care that she rediscovered her love of writing and storytelling.
