Laurie McAndish King, Associate Producer for the Lowell Thomas Award-winning travel show, Journeys of Discovery with Tom Wilmer, caught up with Don George and Paul Lasley at the Book Passage Travel Writers and Photographers Conference in Corte Madera, California. Don George is an acclaimed travel writer and editor. Author of Lonely Planet’s Guide to Travel Writing and The Way of Wanderlust, and editor of ten travel anthologies, Don is Editor at Large for National Geographic Traveler and Editor of BBC’s Travel Words and Wanderlust site. Paul Lasley is Co-host and Executive Producer of “On Travel,” a podcast about all aspects of travel that airs daily to some 3 million listeners in 180 countries on the American Forces Radio Network. Paul has won two Gold Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Broadcast Awards.
