Gabriela estudió danza contemporánea en Costa Rica. Sang Hwa estudió política y medios de comunicación en Corea y nunca tuvo formación como bailarina. Ahora, ambas se dedican a estudiar la danza de forma teórica y práctica y han participado en actuaciones juntas en Berlín. Se mueven entre discursos eurocentristas y discursos subalternos, entre idiomas extranjeros y la lengua materna.
