Growing up in communist Bulgaria, Ceitci always believed there was something more to life. In our conversation, Ceitci shares her experience growing up in a communist country where everyone was forced to conform and the penalty for disobedience was too costly to risk. Ceitci describes her first experience with missionaries who came to Bulgaria after communism fell, and how she found God in the midst of a healing miracle. Now she travels and teaches others how recognize your invisible mentors and with God’s help, how you can turn life’s most difficult situations into stepping stones – used not to destroy you but to empower you to live a fulfilled life.
Key Takeaways
You can see things differently when you’ve lived in bondage and you come into a completely different culture.
God is good, He is always for us, and He speaks to us in various ways.
Fear, regret and shame often scream louder than the truth.
Perspective and perception is more powerful than the actual opportunity that’s presented to us.
Look at the impossibility of the circumstance and choose to create an opportunity out of it.
It is the simplicity of our faith that is the most powerful.
Knowledge without revelation leads you to stagnant beliefs.
Don’t let circumstance overpower your belief.
People can take things from you but they can never take your dignity, your value, or your faith.
Even if you don’t believe in God, give Him a chance to prove Himself because there is no other greater power than God’s power – to sustain us through the midst of the most excruciating circumstances and painful experiences.
