How to Scry:
A black mirror or a regular mirror can be used. Whichever you use, you don’t want to see your reflection. The best is to leave the mirror on a table and look at it from an angle.
- Turn down the lights and light a candle or use the light of a Full Moon.
- Relax your body completely and clear your mind.
- Allow your eyes to slightly close and gaze in the mirror.
- Focus on your question or intent and allow any images to take shape in the mirror. You may see it in the reflected light or shadows or you may see it in your mind’s eye. Mirror scrying takes practice, so don’t be discouraged.
---
So you might ask yourself at this point: How do you get rid of a mirror you suspect is haunted or an evil portal into a realm you don’t want to see? Here are a list of tips:
- Spiritual cleansing of the mirror and home. (see more below.)
- Cleanse the object with salt or holy water. Or both.
- Return it to its original place.
- Bury it in a graveyard or other consecrated grounds.
- Burn it. If you do burn it, the fire should be blessed by a priest or a witch so that the flames can trap whatever nasty is in there.
Do not break a mirror. Not only is it bad luck, you will let out whatever was trapped inside it. Which is probably also not very happy it’s been trapped in a mirror.
