Collaboration Changes the Game show art Collaboration Changes the Game

Own Your Choices Own Your Life

In this episode, I want to talk about collaboration, what it is, and how it can change your life if you truly let it. Collaboration is the action of working with someone to produce or create something. It is working together for a common purpose, and with knowledge with the right connections more is possible. It implies cooperation, is the opposite of competition, and is a word that many people say but actually might not wholeheartedly believe.

Learning to Bless the Things You Once Resented show art Learning to Bless the Things You Once Resented

Own Your Choices Own Your Life

In this episode, I want to share a mindset shift or an awareness that I had this past week. It is about the things that we resent or resist and looking at the energy that we are wasting sitting in these emotions. What if these are the things we even despise of ourselves and we are holding onto that resentment. It is a weight that is holding us down, keeping us stuck in the same cycle of energy and frustration. We will never create change in this cycle.

Controlling the Controllable show art Controlling the Controllable

Own Your Choices Own Your Life

In this episode, I am addressing the word control. Ugh, this word control ruled my life for years. I strived for control and perfection, so it is the default I go to on a regular basis. This is also a position that I hear so many of my clients drop into. This can be even further compounded when life feels chaotic, challenging or a lot of things happen outside of our control. It is a simple solution but definitely not always easy.

#289: Choices That Create Your Life with George Wang

Today we are speaking with Executive Coach and Sales Trainer, George Wang.  Coach George Wang is a Board Certified Executive Coach, Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Certified Hypnotherapist. Before the age of 15, Coach George Wang was just a normal kid from the 90’s playing Nintendo 64 and shooting basketball with friends when one day he was suddenly diagnosed with a rare kidney disease with an average of 10 years before full kidney failure. This led to another discovery of a large tumor on his right lung which was surgically removed along with two-thirds of his lung. With the outpouring of love from friends and family during this traumatic time, Coach George learned the value of human connections and developed a belief that life was all about the connections we make with other human beings. This led him on a path of non-stop learning. Over the past 20 years, Coach George has dedicated his life to studying every method of human behavior science he could get his hands on, which has led to not only his own personal success, but to the success of his clients as well.

Today, Coach George helps entrepreneurs, business owners, and corporate executives to connect with, market to, sell, and serve their customers in an ethical manner using psychological behavioral principles. He believes that business should always be win-win, and that the customer should win more. This is how business is done in its truest and most ethical form.

In this episode we discuss:

1) Through George’s illness and recovery from a young age, he learned the value of connection and relationships, and this was an integral part of his focus in his professional career. The rituals that Coach George goes through on a daily basis to turn on and off our different roles we have in our lives.

2) How to sell authentically by focusing on what your client needs and what ethical selling is.  Sales isn't about being pushy. It is about offering your client the solutions you have available and always come from a space of giving value. It is really about helping people by producing value and executing in the sales of that product.

3) George’s experience in NLP and how it transformed his life.  Business and sales tend to have a negative connotation when it actually is what unites us all.  Sales, done properly, actually unifies us as humans and allows us to care for one another.  George shares so many incredible examples of this during the show.

4) George discussed the different levels of love and how this is so important when it comes to relationships and making commitments work and fulfilling.
