From teacher for 9 years to paid coach in 6 weeks...let’s do this interview with Elana R Diaz! 

 

Elana started on a journey in October 2019 to figure out what she would do outside of education because she knew it was no longer what she wanted to do. She shares with us on this episode that the worst thing you can do when you’re unhappy with something is to stay in it. She even started to realize that her being unhappy in her job was impacting her relationships negatively. 

 

But it was scary to think about leaving teaching because it was all she had ever known professionally and it was also what she thought she SHOULD do after making it her college degree and spending so many years teaching already. 

 

But she realized a lot of the traits she loves about teaching are traits that make a great coach so she decided to check out my free 4 day Soul Aligned Biz challenge and she has just hit the ground running ever since. 

 

Through some deep diving, facing her fears, overcoming judgement, she landed on her soul-aligned niche: helping women release shame and guilt after abortion so they can enjoy their lives and make a future for themselves. 

 

In this episode we talk a lot about what it’s like to invest in yourself and how it completely changed the way Elana shows up for herself, her life and her goals. Knowing that she’s invested in herself makes her feel like she finally believes in herself - which I’ll be the first one to tell you is the first ingredient in success - belief in yourself. Without it, how can you expect to succeed?

 

Elana also talks about the struggles she faced around not being qualified or “good enough” to coach and how she overcame that fear. What it was like to finally put herself first, and what it’s like to start working with her first client.
