It is time to get clear on what we want and design our businesses to support the lifestyle vision we have for 2021 and beyond. Real estate lead generation and biz dev are going to play a significant role in how quickly and efficiently you’re going to materialize your goals. Those two processes are going to be our main focus for the next few months. I put together a solocast episode to walk through some of the different ways you can approach biz dev as a team effort by finding the right lending partner for your business!

Selecting the Right Partners to Grow Your Business

This is not just about the activity we need to do to build relationships that will bring us closer to our goals. This is about how you approach real estate lead generation and biz dev in such a way that you select the right partners to help you grow your business! If you are a real estate agent, you most likely use a preferred lender, but a lot of times that relationship can feel one-sided. There are a lot of moving parts when you’re out looking for the right lender and attempting to develop a mutually beneficial relationship with them. That is why I developed a simple three-step process you can use as a guide!

3 Questions for Prospective Lenders

A team effort can drive your real estate lead generation and business development results through the roof! However, you need to find the right partner first. You should ask your prospective partner if they have ever created a business plan or written down their goals. This means finding someone who treats their business like a business and isn’t operating month-to-month with their fingers crossed! Next, you need to find out what impressionable books they have read, and whether or not they have used a coach. This indicates their interest in personal/professional development and their willingness to pull their own weight. Finally, you need to ask them about their action plan. By understanding how they plan to grow their business, you can find a partner that is proactively pursuing growth instead of seeking an agent who’s going to do all of the heavy lifting. This 3-step process will help you narrow down the candidates with ease.
