On this week’s episode of ScaleUp Radio, I’m speaking to Ian Jarvis, the founder of Vertis Accounting.

 

They operate a little bit differently from other accountants in that they are purely a digital accountant - so everything they do is online. No quill pens and big ledger books here!

 

As you’ll hear, Ian started the firm relatively recently after a long career in corporate accounting, but has such a huge passion for accountancy, and his desire to grow and scale up his business.

 

Ian is incredibly experienced as an accountant - but also as a business owner; and it’s these lessons that we talk about in our conversation.
