After our review of The Ninth Gate, based on - or maybe inspired by - Arturo Pérez-Reverte's novel The Dumas Club, we decided to take a look at an earlier adaptation of another of his novels The Flanders Panel, which Jim McBride filmed as Uncovered with Kate Beckinsale in only her second big screen outing Presented by J.R.
