Courage. Hope. And Inspiration. Attributes most of us desire. It's also the acronym for Pratibha Dey's YouTube show - Chai Together. Overcoming numerous adversities herself, Pratibha's show is inspired by her mother's Schizophrenia diagnosis and her own journey of resiliency. It is unashamedly open and honest. I wanted to chat with Pratibha today about the myriad of grief she has experienced - primarily with growing up with a mum with schizophrenia - who wasn't like other mums - the grief of not often having the support of family, her foray into homelessness, plus the grief of child loss....

I think many of us are able to relate to being so busy we are almost numb to life, on auto, going through the motions, having high expectations of ourselves and what we believe others need from us - and sometimes, in amongst all of that there's very little joy and happiness to be found. In this episode, my guest, Suzanne Falter, is going to share how it took losing her beautiful daughter Teal in 2012 for her to discover the healing power of self-care and she's going to share those insights with us. info_outlineToday's episode is especially for you if you have suffered the loss of a precious wee soul at birth or just prior to birth. This is something I can't even begin to imagine…. Yet it happens to so many and this type of grief is often flying under the radar.
Today, I am chatting to Crystal Webster who is the Founder of Sharing Solace, Author of ‘Confessions of a Griever’, speaker, mentor, entrepreneur, and most importantly she is Madelyn Elizabeth Webster’s mama. When Madelyn died in Crystal’s arms just after she was born, she wanted to die too. She found herself isolated and debilitated from the grief. It took her years to learn to live again – and that was mostly because she realized her Madelyn wouldn’t want her to live the rest of her life waiting to die.
This is a raw, yet, heartwarming conversation with Crystal, who shares from her soul, not just about her journey with Madelyn, but also the heartbreak of then being unable to conceive!
